Take 5 min. out of everyday to make du'a for all of the people suffering from the flood in Pakistan. Donate and spread awareness about the issue. Pakistanis need food and clean water. Think about them every time you complain about something. There are billions of Muslim in the world. If everyone gives $1, think about the lives saved. Give Zakat and Sadqa, The Ummah needs you. Ramadan Mubarak!

Today I saw a single lit window from the large apartment block opposite my building at the time for suhoor. A lady was standing at the balcony, hands raised in prayer. It felt good to know that there were other muslims in my area.

People let us all make dua for the muslims suffering all over the world and make dua that allah makes life easier for all of us to hold on to our deen and not let it be like holding a burning coal. Take 5 minutes and make a dua.

Today I caught myself wondering, why was islam the centre of the world in the sahabas time and not now. I realised its because of 2 things, disunity and disregard for the sunnah. Come on let's change this. Inshallah,aameen.

Almost every time there is haraam food (gelatin, pork, chicken) at school and I can't eat it, my friends ask me why EVERY TIME. And the answer is,"religious reasons." Same thing with music, dance, and much more..... MLIM

Well yesterday we went to this sisters house to do tarweeh at her house. After we finished my sisters friend's son came back from tarweeh, he is only 2. he came back and his name is youssef. so I was like youssef come give me a hug. he is like no, am Sheikh youssef! not youssef. masha'allah this kid is going to be a shaikh one day. MLIM

Today, (well not today but several times already) telemarketers with South Asian accents called my house to sell Dish Network. My mother started giving dawah and lectured on why idle talk is haram. May Allah reward her. MLIM.
